NRI Banking

The bank provides two types of specialized fixed deposit accounts for NRIs which are:

  • NRE Fixed Deposits:
It is a type of fixed deposit account that can be maintained in Indian Rupee and the balance in this account is fully repatriable along with the interest. The term ranges between 1 to 5 years and the deposits gets automatically renewed when matured.
  • NRO Fixed Deposits:
This fixed deposit account can also be maintained in the form of Indian Rupee and it is the best investment option for savings and incomes that take place abroad. The range of the tenure is between 7 days to 5 years and the interest acquired on the deposit gets automatically credited every three months or at the maturity time.
